To reach the goal of 200 trees, there are 2 initiatives:
- Collection of landowners names, type of tree, height, approximate month planted, and location of trees planted within the 53586 area code to be considered a Bicentennial tree. This includes trees planted in 2024 and 2025.
- The purchasing, planting and maintenance of trees starting in 2026 and forward.
Option 1:
Register your tree already planted in 2024 or 2025 as an official “200 trees for 200 years” tree.

Option 2:
Purchasing and planting of trees beginning in 2026.
- Orders will only be accepted from homeowners/donors within 53586 zip code
- Trees will be delivered to Shullsburg on a pre-determined date in the spring of 2026
- Certificate will be sent to homeowner/donor stating inclusion of tree in registry
- Additional tree deliveries will be offered in fall of 2026 and spring of 2027
